FYI - finished radiation! - finite le radiazioni!

Yesterday was the last session of radiation.   The hardest part has been the extreme drowsiness - really being so sleepy I can barely breathe.  I thought this was a chemo side effect, and probably part of it is, but a lot of it is the radiation, as the doctor told me yesterday, and should dissipate over the next 2 to 4 weeks.  In 4 weeks they'll do an MRI of the brain to see how things are going.

Ieri abbiamo fatto l'ultimo trattamento di radiazioni del cervello.  La parte piu' difficile e' stata la stanchezza estrema - una stanchezza che mi fa sentire che a malapena riesco a respirare.  Pensavo fosse un'effetto della chemioterapia, e in parte lo e' ma e' anche le radiazioni e il medico dice che dovrebbe diminuire nelle prossime 2 - 4 settimane.  Dopo 4 settimane faranno una risonanza magnetica.
