Who are you?

Do you care to tell us who you are?
What your mind says when you're
not really there?
It's not just air
that's left
when you stop thinking.
Cheap pink beads
fallen from a gown.
Yellow-brown hair
in your mother's painting:
"The Clown!"
These ideas drifted down -
from where?  The scientists don't know,
at least not consciously.
Unless you wish to discuss whether
there's a third, then for now we'll say there's two kinds of
people: the ones who never censor themselves and the ones
who always do.  Well which are you?

[okay okay - the truth is there's mostly the third kind of people, the ones that sometimes do and sometimes don't - I was just trying to stir something up]
